February 1998 – December 2000
After working for “high-minded” think-tanks for almost 5 years, I was hungry for a spiritual job serving humbly. I approached the pastor of my church at FBCRC and told him about my desires. He agreed to bring me onboard as the Executive Pastor responsible for ministry development, teaching, funerals and counseling. During that time I also was a Volunteer Chaplain making weekly visits at Heritage Hospital (a long-term care facility).
